The many faces of a talented Felicia Day

Reccently, Felicia Day announced the release date for her first book and I pre-ordered it already. Why? Because I am curious what this talented woman will have to say about presenting her/himself via the Internet. She of all people is one of those phenomens that became successful via her presence on youtube.

The first paragraph of the entry on Wikipedia describes quite good what she accomplished so far.

Kathryn Felicia Day. (born June 28, 1979) is an American actress, comedian, and writer. On TV, she has played Vi in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dr. Holly Marten in Eureka, and currently has a recurring role as Charlie on Supernatural. She has acted in movies such as Bring It On Again and June, as well as the Internet musical Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. She is the star, writer, and producer of the original web series The Guild, a show loosely based on her life as a gamer. She also wrote and starred in the Dragon Ageweb series Dragon Age: Redemption. Day was a member of the board of directors of the International Academy of Web Television beginning December 2009 until the end of July 2012.

Admittedly I have been following her since her first appearance on Buffy, watched the first episodes of her show “The Guild” and loved her character in “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”. She has quite a resume when you look at it and the fact that she is publishing a book is just the next logical step in her career.

I am quite curious, will she write about her career, about what and how she became what she is today on the internet. Will we get some personal details, witll it be a how-to for other people who admire her work?

Whatever it will be I am sure will be fitting perfectly in her work so far. 🙂
